Family Planning leader Banja La Mtsogolo (BLM) has recruited 32 HIV counselling and testing (HCT) counseQors who will be deployed in all its clinics across the country.
The. development wffl see BLM, which was only offering KCT services in 14 clinics, providing the service in all its 31 outlets.
Speaking at the opening of three-week orientation workshop for the counsellors at Mpemba Staff Development Institute in Blantyre yesterday, BLM marketing and corporate affairs manager Chifundo Malunga said the arrangement has been made possible with assistance from the National Aids Commission (Nac).
"We are very grateful to Nac for the assistance which will make us offer HCT facilities in all our clinics," said Malunga.
She said the training was made to acquaint the new recruits with the activities of BLM.
