BLM's Youth Drop-in (YDIC) Centre Initiative
Youth, especially young women, are vulnerable to sexual and reproductive health problems and they are particularly prone to the risk of unplanned pregnancies, STIs , HIV/AIDS and clandestine abortions. This is mainly due to unavailability of factual and adequate sexual and reproductive health information in the various places they meet such as schools and play grounds.

Building Tomorrows Leaders
The objective of the series of campaigns was to encourage youth especially girls and young women to have self efficacy, to encourage youth to go for HCT, to improve attitudes toward condom use and contraceptive use, to sensitize the youth about Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) services which are offered by BLM centres, and to seek community support in the implementation of the NORAD/SIDA youth project.

BLM Sponsors the K100,000 HCT Youth Soccer and Netball Tournament
Banja La Mtsogolo with funding from National Aids Commission sponsored a three-month long HCT Youth Sports Tournament in Zomba. The tournament was in Netball and soccer game categories with 16 teams drawn from secondary schools around Zomba District.
